CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State baseball team is one of only 32 NCAA Division I teams to be honored with the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Academic Excellence Award.

To be eligible for the honor, teams must have posted a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better for the 2015-16 academic year. Oregon State's team GPA was 3.14.
More than 150 teams from NCAA Divisions I, II and III, along with NAIA, junior college and high school programs were recognized.
