OSU Falls in 3-0 Setback to No. 4 Washington

SEATTLE, Wash. – The Oregon State volleyball team fell to the No. 4 Washington Huskies in three sets at the Alaska Airlines Arena on Wednesday night in a Northwest Rivalry Series match, presented by Alaska Airlines.

In the third leg of a four-match road swing, OSU (4-13, 2-5 Pac-12) was out-hit, .295-.034, by the fourth-ranked Huskies (16-1, 6-1 Pac-12) en route to set scores of 25-13, 25-22 and 25-20. OSU nearly matched the Huskies in total blocks (7.0-7.5), but the Beavers committed five more attack errors (19-14), while burying 20 fewer kills (42-22).

“We can’t hit those low types of numbers as attackers and compete against good teams,” Oregon State head coach Taras Liskevych.
