Oregon State received a verbal commitment from a new 2021 high school recruit today. Orion Maile-Kaufusi from East High School in Salt Lake City, Utah announced his decision via Twitter this evening.
Orion Maile-Kaufusi belongs to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day-Saints and will be serving a 2-year church mission before attending Oregon State. The 6-foot-3, 190-pound athlete played defensive end and tight end for East High. East High is also the high school were high school musical was filmed; so one would have to assume Orion can sing and dance as well.
