After a three-week hiatus — hello, paternity leave! — the sports ranking that the state couldn’t do without is back. Every Monday, The Oregonian/OregonLive’s Oregon Sports Power Ranking will gauge which Oregon teams and players made the most of the week that was in a place where everyone from preps to the pros are on level footing.
Instead of the typical power rankings that exist for individual leagues, here we’ll open the debate to all of Oregon, a state where the Timbers and Trail Blazers are technically atop the sports hierarchy, yet prep and college sports produce just as much passion.
