Oregon State forward Tres Tinkle and center Cheikh N'diaye have been granted medical hardship waivers after each missed a majority of the 2016-17 season due to injury.
Tinkle will return as a redshirt sophomore, giving him three remaining years of collegiate eligibility. The 6-foot-8 forward and son of coach Wayne Tinkle averaged 20.2 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 2.2 steals in six games before breaking his right, non-shooting wrist.
N'diaye started eight games as a senior and averaged 3.6 points and 2.2 rebounds before he underwent season-ending shoulder surgery.
