Oregon State point guard Sydney Wiese has been named a second-team All-American by ESPN while also earning second-team Pac-12 All-Academic honors, both organizations announced Friday.
It's the latest in a string of postseason accolades for Wiese, who is also a finalist for the Wooden Award and a semifinalist for the Naismith Trophy, which are both given to the national player of the year. She's also a four-time All-Pac-12 selection, a third-team Academic All-American, the Pac-12 Women's Basketball Scholar Athlete of the Year and a finalist for the Senior CLASS Award.
