Oregon State's Scott Rueck sweeps Pac-12 Coach of the Year awards

Oregon State coach Scott Rueck has swept the Pac-12 Coach of the Year awards, taking the honor voted on by the conference's media a day after being selected by his fellow coaches.

Additionally, Beavers point guard Sydney Wiese was an All-Pac-12 selection, while Gabby Hanson made the All-Defensive team and Mikalya Pivec made the All-Freshman team.

It's the fourth time Rueck has been voted for the conference's top honor by the media. He guided OSU to a third consecutive Pac-12 title in a season the Beavers were projected to finish fifth in the league following the departure of 2016 Pac-12 Player of the Year Jamie Weisner and two-time league Defensive Player of the Year Ruth Hamblin.
