CORVALLIS — When asked about his favorite rushing play from last week's dramatic victory over California, Dustin Stanton could not provide one answer. Neither could Sean Harlow.
This is a good thing, because there were a variety of options for the Oregon State offensive linemen to choose from. How about the 80-yard burst by Ryan Nall to open the second half? Or Nall's 62-yarder a few minutes later? Or any of the six touchdowns on the ground? Or quarterback Darell Garretson's game-winning scamper to the end zone in overtime?
Nall, Garretson and the rest of the Beavers' backfield earned plenty of praise for amassing 474 yards against California, a school record for a conference game.
