STOCKTON, California -- Mikayla Pivec stared straight ahead inside a somber Oregon State locker room, first reflecting on what went wrong during the Beavers' Sweet 16 loss to Florida State. Then the Beavers freshman guard turned her attention to the departing seniors -- and what she's learned from them that she can carry into the offseason and beyond.
After digesting the latest successful season during the Beavers' historic run, moving forward becomes the next task for a program that has established itself as a consistent Pac-12 contender and an NCAA Tournament regular.
"They've built a great place for us to be," Pivec said.
