CORVALLIS, Ore. – Jake Mulholland threw four scoreless innings of relief and Cadyn Grenier hit a three-run triple in the sixth inning to send seventh-ranked Oregon State to a 4-1 win over UC Davis Sunday afternoon at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field.
The win sent the Beavers to a sweep of the Aggies, outscoring UC Davis, 22-3, over the three-game series. Oregon State improved to 10-1 on the year and is on a five-game win streak heading into a Tuesday matchup with Portland at Goss Stadium.
Mulholland came on in relief of starter Jake Thompson in the sixth and proceeded to hold the Aggies to one hit in four innings.
