Oregon State wide receivers 'need to play better' against elite Colorado secondary

CORVALLIS – If there are two dominant images from Colorado's 41-38 victory over Oregon last Saturday, the second may be the sheer joy on the faces of players and coaches after the win.

It was arguably the Buffaloes' biggest win since joining the Pac-12 in 2011. That emotion was set forth by the first image, when senior cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon picked off Ducks quarterback Dakota Prukop in the end zone to cement the game with 48 seconds to play.

The pass was underthrown and the play call questioned but it was another big play in a long line of them from the CU secondary, extending the defense's streak to 17 consecutive games with a forced turnover.
