Oregon State wide receiver Seth Collins being treated for illness at hospital

Oregon State starting wide receiver Seth Collins is being treated for an illness at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis, a university spokesman confirmed to The Oregonian/OregonLive.

"University officials are mindful of his good health and everyone will keep Seth in their thoughts," said Steve Clark, the OSU vice president of university relations and marketing.

Citing privacy restrictions, Clark could not provide further information on Collins' condition and the Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center has not yet returned calls for a status update. Oregon State head football coach Gary Andersen is scheduled to have his weekly news conference at 12:30 p.
