After an incredible run to end the regular season got them back to the NCAA Tournament, the Beavers year finally came to an end, as they simply could not keep up with the South Carolina Gamecocks. In their second round matchup, South Carolina’s defense absolutely shut down the Beavers, giving the GAmecocks a 59-42 win and a trip to the Sweet Sixteen. Oregon State finishes the season 12-8.
After the first quarter ended with USC up 14-13, it looked like we would be in for a close game. Unfortunately for the Beavers, the second quarter was disastrous.
