Oregon State University has defeated their second top 25 ranked opponent of the season. On Saturday, the Beavers took down the University of San Diego in 5 sets. The Toreros were ranked 23rd in the country at the time.
San Diego took the first set 21-25, but the Beavers bounced back and won the next two, 25-19 and 25-18. The Torreros bounced back in the fourth set, winning 25-18.
In the final set, the Beavers jumped out to a 7-2 lead. The Torreros fought back, at one point cutting the OSU lead to one point, but could never get the lead.
