Benny Beaver has undergone several looks during the past 20 years (remember Angry Beaver?), but one that is most familiar to the school's older alums and fans is returning this fall.
The school announced Friday that Retro Benny, the look that was Oregon State's active look from 1951-98, will return as part of the helmets the Beavers plan to wear for their Homecoming game Oct. 20 against California.
The only other time Retro Benny appeared on OSU's helmets was the 1973 season.
