Brian Wozniak, an Oregon State football quality control analyst who previously served for three years as a graduate assistant, was promoted Tuesday to assistant coach in charge of tight ends.
Wozniak replaces Mike Riley, who returned to Corvallis to serve under first-year coach Jonathan Smith as assistant head coach and overseeing tight ends. Riley left OSU earlier in July to become head coach of San Antonio's expansion team in the Alliance of American Football.
Wozniak brings a tight ends pedigree to the coaching staff. Wozniak played tight end at Wisconsin from 2010-13, starting most of the Badgers' games during his sophomore, junior and senior seasons.
