SALT LAKE CITY – The Oregon State women's soccer team suffered a 1-0 loss from the hand of Utah tonight at Ute Field.
The Utes outshot the Beavers, 14-7 in the match and held a 3-2 advantage in the corner game. Senior goalkeeper, saw eight Utah shots on frame and recorded seven saves. Oregon State put two of its seven shots in between the pipes, but could not find the back of the net as Utah goalkeeper July Mathias recorded her third shutout of the season.
Utah started the match, grabbing an early advantage with a goal at 14:38 from Hailey Skolmoski, who found the top-left corner for her ninth goal of the season.
