CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State softball swept a nonconference doubleheader against Portland State on Tuesday afternoon at OSU Softball Complex. The Beavers won game one in five innings 8-0, and followed up with a 2-1 win in game two.
Overall the Beavers improve to 26-17 and hold a 7-8 record in Pac-12 play. Meanwhile, Portland State falls to 12-29.
Game 1, 8-0
Oregon State started fast and early in the first game of the day putting up four runs in the second and third innings to end the game early.
All but two of the starters for the Beavers registered a hit.
