CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State women's and men's soccer teams were both honored as 2015-16 Team Academic Award winners by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) on Thursday. The award is given to teams holding a team GPA of 3.0 or higher.
The Oregon State women's soccer team checked in with a GPA of 3.38 during the 2015-16 academic year, while the men's team recorded a 3.14 GPA.
Junior Bella Geist led the Beavers in the classroom last season, earning Pac-12 All-Academic First-Team honors. Senior Annie Govig was also selected to the Pac-12 All-Academic Second-Team, while Sabrina Santarossa, Nikki Faris, Natalie Higgins, Kayla Latham and Emmy Rodriguez were all tabbed with Honorable Mention honors.
