The most notable absence from the scrimmage was starting wide receiver Seth Collins, whose hand was wrapped in a bandage during the session. A source told The Oregonian/OregonLive Saturday that Collins’ finger is injured, with no concrete timetable on his return. The Beavers’ opener is Aug. 26 at Colorado State.

Coach Gary Andersen confirmed Collins missed the scrimmage for health reasons but referred to OSU’s policy of releasing players’ availability in an injury report the week of each game.
