TUCSON, Ariz. – On the night of his 300thcareer victory, Arizona coach Sean Miller drew a smattering of applause from the few remaining fans when he re-entered the McKale Center floor for his post-game radio interview.
At the other end of the scorer's table, Oregon State coach Wayne Tinkle stood up from his own radio interview after his team had fallen 80-63 for its fifth loss in six games.
Soon after, he located Drew Eubanks and encircled his left arm around the starting center. As he talked with the freshman, Tinkle patted him repeatedly on the chest, put his hand on his head and eventually drew a smile and laugh from the previously dour Eubanks before embracing him in a hug.
