Oregon State Men's Basketball Team Safe After Witnessing Barcelona Terror Attack

On Thursday morning, a terror cell in Barcelona, Spain, claimed responsibility for driving a truck into a crowd of people. 13 people were killed in the attack and as many as 100 were injured.

The events transpired just outside of the hotel that was housing the Oregon State men's basketball team in the Los Ramblas area of Barcelona.

All members of the team are reportedly safe and accounted for following the incident. The team was scheduled to play an exhibition game later in the day, but the game was cancelled due to safety concerns.

Oregon State University released the following statement regarding the team's safety and the rest of the trip.
