CORVALLIS — Sitting in the Gill Coliseum basement with an ice pack resting on his non-shooting wrist, Tres Tinkle looked for ways to dissect why Oregon State had fallen short on a night when he turned in another career performance.
He misspoke with his first comments, yet still managed to encapsulate the issues facing the Beavers following a 63-58 home loss to Fresno State on Friday night.
"Nail right in the coffin," he said, referencing the comments by head coach Wayne Tinkle about a lack of team unity on the floor.
Tinkle was quickly corrected by his coach and father, indicating that he hit the nail on the head.
