Oregon State started their 2020 season strong, taking down California 71-63 in a non conference game. An aggressive, balanced OSU attack controlled the game for most of its duration, though the Bears made things a little interesting late.
The first half of the game started out balanced with the teams trading the lead, but Oregon State began to grab momentum around the 14 minute mark, growing their lead to 6 points off of a Maurice Calloo three pointer and some Warith Alatishe layups. Cal would come back later in the period, tying the game and taking the lead with some Matt Bradley free throws.
