The Beavers reached their first NCAA Tournament since 1990 in the program's second season under head coach Wayne Tinkle, finishing 19-13 (9-9 Pac-12) after a 75-67 first round loss to Virginia Commonwealth.

Most Valuable Player: Gary Payton II.

Payton took over the primary point guard duties and became the first player since Lester Conner in 1982 to lead the Beavers in points, rebounds, assists and steals.
