Oregon State Made a Late Rally in Salt Lake City, but Ultimately Fell Short

Stephen Thompson Jr. scored a career high 30 points to help the Beavers make a late run after trailing by 28 points in the second half. Jaquori McLaughlin played Utah played most of their bench players in the last part of the 2nd half, which was a major factor of the Beavers late comeback. The Beavers trailed the Utah Utes 75-47 with 8:02 left in the game. The Beavs went on a 21-3 run to cut the score to 68-78 with 2:13. The comeback happened a little late as the Beavers ultimately fall to Utah 86-78.
