The field for the 2016 NCAA Baseball Tournament, and the road to Omaha, is set, and it doesn't include Oregon State. This despite the Beavers having posted a 35-19 record, and as many wins as one Regional host, North Carolina State, and a 3 game sweep of shutouts of UCLA to wrap up the season.
Oregon State probably lost a bid when Utah won the Pac-12 conference with a 21-7 win over Washington, and got an automatic bid with a losing record, The Utes are headed to Oxford, MS, to take on Ole Miss.
Washington also received an invite, as the conference's 2nd place team, and is headed to Nashville, and Vanderbilt.
