Today, November 11th, is an important day in that its Veterans' Day. It's important for another reason as well; it's basketball early signing day, when commitments can become real. For Oregon State, it was a good one.
Men's baketball coach Wayne Tinkle got the singed paperwork from all 3 recruits they were looking for, including 4 star 6'3" PG JaQuori McLaughlin from Gig Harbor, Washington. McLaughlin was originally a Craig Robinson recruit, but decommitted when the coaching change happened. However, he ultimately recommitted to Oregon State, and Tinkle, after considering offers from Wisconsin and Utah, as well as Arizona, Washington, where he was temporarily committed to after the OSU coaching change, California, Stanford, Gonzaga, Memphis, Boise St.
