CORVALLIS – Not long after stating that he needed to be better, Jordan Villamin took multiple seconds to pause and diagnose the issue.
In a moment of reflection, the Oregon State junior wide receiver acknowledged that he had contributed to a slow start and a season that has fallen well below his own standards.
"It's one of those things where I didn't play hard enough the first weeks," Villamin said Tuesday. "Probably just being complacent and getting down when we were losing. Letting everything get into my head. It's all that combined."
There have been many factors that caused an anemic start to the year for the OSU offense, one that ranks 107th in the nation in scoring and 121st in total offense.
