CORVALLIS, Ore. – Marie Gulich and Amarveer Dhesi took home top honors at the 20th annual Benny's Tuesday evening. The end-of-the-year celebration commemorated the achievements of Oregon State student-athletes over the course of the 2017-18 academic year.
Gulich earned Female Athlete of the Year honors, after earning All-America honors and making the All-Pac-12 Team for the second-straight year. The 6-foot-5 German center becomes the fourth-straight women's basketball player to take the Benny for Female Athlete of the Year, joining Ruth Hamblin, Jamie Weisner and Sydney Wiese.
