Oregon State is expected to add former Beavers linebacker Trent Bray to its football coaching staff, a source confirmed to The Oregonian/OregonLive.
Multiple publications also reported on Tuesday that Bray would join the OSU staff, although the defensive coach's specific duties remain unclear.
Bray spent the past three seasons at Nebraska as linebackers coach under Mike Riley and served as the interim coach after the school fired Riley on Nov. 25. Nebraska hired Scott Frost on Saturday and Bray is no longer listed on the school's coaching roster.
Like head coach Jonathan Smith, Bray built a resume as one of the best players in OSU history.
