Oregon State football suspends running back Trevorris Johnson indefinitely

CORVALLIS - Oregon State announced Wednesday that interim football coach Cory Hall has suspended running back Trevorris Johnson indefinitely.

Johnson, a graduate transfer from Texas Christian University, ranks fourth on the Beavers with 28 carries for 94 rushing yards and two touchdowns. The 6-foot, 237-pound Houston native practiced Tuesday, but not Wednesday. The release from OSU did not list a reason for the suspension.

Running back is OSU's deepest position group with junior Ryan Nall (117 carries, 632 yards, seven touchdowns), sophomore Artavis Pierce (57 carries, 258 yards, one touchdown) and senior Thomas Tyner (44 carries, 219 yards, three touchdowns).
