Here is Oregon State's practice report from Day 2 of 2018 preseason drills. The media was able to talk to defensive players Saturday. Coaches have yet to talk after practice, but will begin speaking next week.
CORVALLIS – Oregon State cornerback Dwayne Williams had no trouble remembering the last time he wore a uniform while playing tackle football.
“My last play in a real helmet was Sept. 9. It feels good to be back,” Williams said.
That was Oregon State’s 2017 game against Minnesota, when the Beavers then-junior cornerback suffered a season-ending knee injury. Williams didn’t participate in spring drills, and spent much of the offseason rehabilitating his knee.
