CORVALLIS – It’s been some 72 hours since Oregon State’s breakthrough 41-34 overtime win over Colorado. It’s at this point football teams clearly want to turn the page and look toward the upcoming opponent rather than re-live the past.
The Beavers operate in a similar manner, but they won’t say no to media and others who want to talk about last Saturday’s victory. The win meant too much in terms of history and validation.
Players and coaches got to see a rare outburst of emotion from coach Jonathan Smith, who cut loose in the locker room following the victory.
