Which ever quarterback ends up winning the starting job, they will have plenty of targets to throw the ball to. Returning playmakers Jordan Villamin, Seth Collins, Timmy Hernandez will be flanked by 4 star newcomer Isaiah Hodgins. One receiver that may end up sneaking into that group is sophomore Andre Bodden.
The walk-on wide receiver got plenty of reps in fall camp while starters Villamin, Hernandez and Collins were nursing injury and or illness. His play during spring ball garnered high praise from fellow receiver Jordan Villamin who told the Oregonian “He has the best releases on the team, I’m telling you right now,” said Villamin, adding “Sir Mix-A-Lot” is Bodden’s nickname.
