As fall camp gets underway our countdown list rolls on with hard-hitting safety, Jalen Moore. Moore gained valuable playing experience last season but his season was cut short due to injury. In total, he ended the season with 19 tackles and showed great versatility in the secondary.
Currently, Jalen Moore looks like the top contender to replace Devin Chappell and fill in at the safety position opposite of Brandon Arnold. Moore’s physical and hard-hitting style is reminiscent of Chappell but he won’t just be handed the job, graduate transfer Austin Hudson and others will push him for playing time.
