Oregon State Football: Linebacker Andrzej Hughes-Murray Named Semi-Finalist For Campbell Trophy

Redshirt senior linebacker Andrzej Hughes-Murray was named one of the 199 semi-finalists for the William V. Campbell Trophy on Thursday, an award given annually which “recognizes an individual as the absolute best college football scholar-athlete for his combined academic success, football performance and exemplary leadership”.

A 6’ 2”, 260-pound talent from Federal Way, Washington, Hughes-Murray was also named as a Campbell Trophy semi-finalist last season, despite missing the season due to injury, in addition to being named to the Wuerrfel Trophy Award watch-list and being named a team captain.

Hughes-Murray was also a member of the Pac-12 Fall Academic Honor Roll.
