Oregon State has tabbed Jake Luton as its starting quarterback, six days before the 2018 opener against Ohio State.
The 6-foot-7 senior is listed atop the week's depth chart, apparently winning the job after a tense three-week battle during preseason camp with sophomores Conor Blount and Jack Colletto.
Blount and Colletto are listed the co-back ups.
Luton started four games last season before he was sidelined with a thoracic spine fracture during a game against Washington State.
During his four-game season, Luton completed 83 of 135 passes for 853 yards, four touchdowns and four interceptions.
