CORVALLIS -- Helmet askew and prone on the turf in the back left corner of the Reser Stadium northern end zone, Jordan Villamin groaned and screamed in pain.
The Oregon State senior wide receiver would return amid a late rally Saturday in his final home game, a 40-24 loss to Arizona State. But in the moment, appearances indicated Villamin had taken his final college snap as he clutched at his facemask and a team doctor worked on his left knee.
Before medical personnel arrived, OSU running back Ryan Nall sprinted roughly 30 yards downfield to be the lone player by his longtime teammate's side.
