Last night, former Wisconsin and South Florida safety, Austin Hudson, announced that he will be transferring to Oregon State to play football for Gary Andersen.
Hudson plans to graduate in May and will be able to play for the Beavers immediately as he pursues a graduate degree. Austin Hudson was a consensus three-star recruit in the 2014 recruiting class. The 6-foot-2, 186-pound safety has great size and exceptional athleticism.
Austin Hudson has two years of eligibility left and will be in the mix to replace starting safety, Devin Chappell. If Hudson does not earn a starting spot he should still contribute heavily and would be a play-maker on special teams.
