TEMPE, Ariz. – Oregon State wrestling dropped its first Pac-12 dual of the conference season to No. 9 Arizona State on Saturday afternoon, 27-15.
It was a tough draw to start the day as freshman 174-pounder Myles Terry drew the No. 1-ranked, and undefeated, Anthony Valencia. Valencia took the match with a fall giving the Sun Devils a 6-0 lead.
Making his season debut for the Beavers at 184 pounds, redshirt sophomore Collbran Meeker dropped a major decision to Kordell Norfleet (ASU). Oregon State now trailed 10-0.
