CORVALLIS, Ore. - The Oregon State women's soccer team fought hard but it was No. 14 California taking home the 3-1 win, Friday night.
Oregon State and California spent the night battling each other for possession of the ball. "Congrats to Cal," said head coach Matt Kagan. "The big difference in the game was their efficiency in the box. From a big picture perspective, I was happy with how we played today. We controlled most of the match from a territorial standpoint but we unfortunately didn't finish our chances. We need to recover and get ready for a big match on Sunday.
