EUGENE, Ore. - The Oregon State women's soccer team battled for over 96 minutes but ultimately fell, 1-0, in overtime to Oregon, Friday night.
"This was a tough way to end the season," said head coach Matt Kagan. "I give credit to Oregon for the good set-piece [and the game-winning goal]. We have a very young group that will be back and ready to go in the fall!"
Oregon started out with possession but Oregon State quickly took the ball to their offensive third. A throw-in from senior Kaillen Fried led to a cross from sophomore Abby Schwartz.
