Highlight
During 11-on-11 work, redshirt freshman Andre Bodden brought in a nice fingertip grab over freshman Jaydon Grant. Coach Brent Brennan was particularly excited, screaming "Way to go!" and giving Bodden a big high-five. It was a nice moment a walk-on.
Three observations observations (and a bonus)
1. Co-offensive coordinator Kevin McGiven gave a quick evaluation of Thursday's scrimmage, noting he was pleased with the second unit's ability to establish the run (Tim Cook and Art Pierce combined for 14 carries for 86 yards) but still wants to see consistency on details from proper route-running technique to reading the correct running lanes.
