Oregon State stopped their five game skid with a win over Oregon 6-3 tonight. The win pushed the 24th ranked Beavers to a 30-17 overall record. It also moved them closer to 500. in Pac-12 play with a record of 11-12. The Beavers desperately needed the win with now only seven games left in the season.
Oregon jumped to a quick early lead off of a Daniel Patzlaff home run that scored two in the second inning. The Beavers would not let this one slip away as they answered back in the bottom of the third. An error by Duck's second baseman Carson Breshears got things started for the Beavers as Caleb Hamilton scored from second.
