SEATTLE – The top-ranked Oregon State baseball team dropped the series opener at Washington Thursday night, 3-2, at Husky Ballpark.

The Beavers rallied in the ninth, pushing the game to a one-run deficit on an RBI single by KJ Harrison. But the Huskies ended the game on a groundout to a sprawling Levi Jordan at second, whose throw narrowly beat Michael Gretler at first.

The loss snapped Oregon State's school-record 23 game win streak, and pushed the Beavers to just their second loss on the year.
