Oregon State Drops Heartbreaker to Nebraska in OT

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State women's soccer team fell 2-1 to Nebraska on Sunday in a double-overtime nonleague game at Paul Lorenz Field.

The Cornhuskers (3-1-0) won the first game between the two teams when Brenna Ochoa tucked a 25-yard shot inside the right post just 50 seconds into the second overtime period.

The loss ended a two-game win streak for the Beavers (1-1-1) and left them 0-2-3 in their last five overtime games over the past two seasons. It also gave them a split on the weekend as they edged Stephen F. Austin, 2-1 on Friday night.
