In one of the wackier basketball games of the season, Oregon State utilized an 18-0 run in the second half to pull away from Kent State in Gill Coliseum. Kendal Manuel led the way with 17 points. Kent State pulled down a NCAA season-high 34 offensive rebounds on the night in the loss.
The Beavers shot surprisingly well in the first half and found themselves with a 27-26 advantage headed into halftime. They could not secure a rebound if their lives depended on it though. Oregon State gave up 20 offensive rebounds. 20 OFFENSIVE REBOUNDS!! Kent State went 0-12 from three-point land in the first half, which lead to a number of long defensive rebounds.
