CORVALLIS -- The reasoning behind the bombshell split between Gary Andersen and Oregon State gained some clarity Tuesday with the publication of text messages that provided a window into his psyche.
Among the notable elements of The Oregonian/OregonLive story were Andersen's critical comments about his coaching staff, including that he "hired the wrong (expletive) guys."
On Wednesday, defensive coordinator Kevin Clune declined to specifically address his feelings on Andersen's departure, instead asking the focus to be on Colorado.
"I don't want to talk about all that stuff right now," Clune said. "When I've formed my thoughts, which will probably be in December, then we can talk about all that.
