CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State University men's soccer team rebounded from a three-game losing streak with a rejuvenated performance against [17/-] Pacific on Friday night at Paul Lorenz field.
The Beavers (3-5) got a goal each from senior Jordan Jones (Pacific Grove, Calif.) and junior Nathan Braaten (Highlands Ranch, Colo.) to spearhead a 2-0 win over the Tigers (7-2).
"For me, it's always been in them to do well," said head coach Steve Simmons. "I think, when you get frustrated with losses, there's a tendency for athletes to overthink, and tonight they came out, competed and worked hard against a very good team.
